WRS Health was born in a clinical setting — not a conference room. Our founder, Lawrence Gordon, MD, an ENT surgeon, built this platform because he lived the frustration of EHR systems that were designed for administrators and not for physicians. That origin story shapes every product decision we make, every workflow we design, and every support call we take.
A Problem Worth Solving
In the early 2000s, Dr. Lawrence Gordon was a practicing ENT surgeon facing a dilemma shared by thousands of physicians: the EHR systems on the market were built by technology companies that had never stood at a patient’s bedside.
They were complex, slow, and designed around billing workflows rather than clinical ones. Physicians were spending more time staring at screens than looking at patients. Dr. Gordon decided to do something about it.
He built WRS Health from the inside out — starting with the questions every physician actually asks: What do I need to document this visit accurately? What does my specialty require that generic EHRs never get right? How do I run a thriving practice without drowning in administrative overhead?
